Mobil lösning

A mobile biofilter unit that reduces odours from ventilation air in biogas, waste, and wastewater treatment facilities. The unit connects directly to existing ventilation outlets and requires no changes to the facility’s ventilation system. The filter material consists of bark or wood-based biofilter media that biologically breaks down the odour compounds.

Quick installation

Can be connected directly to existing ventilation ducts.

No rebuilding of ventilation

No changes to fans or the ventilation system are required.

Mobile solution

The unit is delivered as a hook-lift container and can be moved when needed.

Easy operation

Filter material is filled using a wheel loader and replaced by tipping the container.

Robust construction

Designed for operation in industrial outdoor environments.

How it works

How it works

How it works

The ventilation air is directed into the bottom of the container and passes upward through a layer of bark-based filter material.

Microorganisms in the filter material break down the odour compounds before the air leaves the unit.

Installation

Installation

Installation

  1. The ventilation duct is connected to the air intake (e.g. DN400 flange).

  2. The container is placed at the ventilation outlet.

  3. The filter material is filled from the top.

The facility can then be put into operation immediately.

Installation can normally be carried out by the facility’s own operating staff or by a local ventilation contractor.

Operation and maintenance

Operation and maintenance

  • The filter material is normally replaced once per year, depending on load.

  • The container is emptied by tipping and then refilled using a wheel loader.

  • Filter material can normally be purchased locally from suppliers of bark, wood chips, or biofuel.

  • Recommended fraction: coarse bark or a bark/wood chip mixture with a particle size of 40–80 mm.
